Mock interviews occur on Saturdays and Sundays or regular school holidays only. This includes a phone interview lasting between 60 and 90 minutes. Fore will interview you just as he would any head coach is he is going to hire. Then, he writes up a report for you on the positives and negatives from my vantage point as an experienced Athletic Director. Fore has interviewed hundreds of coaches and knows just what it takes to successfully maneuver through an interview.
From a client who did the Mock Interview in January 2016: “Coach Fore, I just wanted to give you an update on my status. I interviewed for a Head Coach position last Saturday, and received a call Monday; then I had a second interview on the spot. This afternoon I was offered the position. Thank you very much for your help with the mock interview! It really prepared me to wow the interview committee. They were very impressed with the interview. I even did what you said in your “next coaching job” book, and contacted the newspaper to find more information before the interview. The news was so helpful and they were extremely shocked with what all I knew about them and their program. Thank you very much again.”
“Coach Fore was a lifesaver for me when it came to preparing for the interview process. I highly recommend his mock interview as I was asked many of the same questions when my actual interview took place. I got the job and nailed the interview all because of the preparation Coach Fore provided me with in his coaching manual. Whether you are interviewing for the first time or applying for the big job you have always wanted, prep with Coach Fore to get the job you feel you deserve!” – A Coach from North Carolina
The old adage in athletics failure to prepare is preparation for failure is true in interviewing as well.
I’m also available to do a mock interview with you, or help to talk you through what to expect in an interview.
A mock interview is $179. This includes a phone interview lasting between 60 and 90 minutes. I interview you just as I would any head coach I’m going to hire. I will then write up a report for you on the positives and negatives from my vantage point as an experienced Athletic Director.
